Quiero unirme a este merecidísimo recuerdo con una aportación también modesta: El vídeo de la entrega del Premio Montblanc a la Cultura en Canarias 1993 añadiéndole dos bonitas anécdotas
la Edición de 1993 fue destinada a La Literatura y el Jurado en la provincia de Las Palmas decidió que el Premio Especial debía recaer en Manuel González Sosa. Algunos miembros del Jurado manifestaron que muy probablemente no aceptaria tal galardón porque al poeta no le gustaba mucho eso de los reconocimientos y prefería pasar desapercibido, en el anonimato.
Pero a María Dolores de la Fe, miembro también del jurado, le hacía tanta ilusión que se entregrara ese premio que se comprometió a convencer al amigo poeta a aceptar y acudir al acto de entrega. Y asi fue. Afortunadamente el poeta aceptó el planteamiento de su amiga del alma y se completó una tarde noche mágica, en el Hotel Reina Isabel, con el poeta secreto, con su amiga María Dolores de la Fe presentando al premiado, con Josefina de la Torre que vino desde Madrid para recoger también una Mención Especial del Jurado, con Manolo Padorno, Antonio de la Nuez, Luis García de Vegueta, Eugenio Padorno, Pepe Dámaso, José Antonio Otero y Joserromán Mora y muchos otros artistas y creadores canarios.
Y la otra anécdota la podrán ver en el video: María Dolores de la Fe acudió al acto y hizo la presentación de su amigo Manuel González Sosa con una tremenda afonía que le impidió terminar su salutación. El Secretario del Premio, Jorge Alemán Kamphoff, con su magnífica voz, acudió en su ayuda.
