Pero a pesar de las dificultades para que me escuches yo sigo insistiendo. Eres necesario, cumples una misión, sigue echando todo el fuego que tengas que echar para la regulación del centro de la tierra, pero te hago llegar un ruego: no hagas más daño, regula la intensidad con que echas el fuego, o la temperatura, o lo que tengas que regular para que la lava que salga siga por los canales que ya están abiertos y no busques nuevos caminos. No destruyas más casas, ni mas barrios, ni mas empresas, ni mas plataneras, porque todos los canarios hemos visto el enorme sufrimiento que eso conlleva en nuestra gente.
Mira volcán hace unos días un vecino de aquí, de Gran Canaria, de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, que vivió y trabajó muchos años en La Palma, me comentó que había llamado a varios palmeros con los que sigue teniendo contacto después de años de retirado de La Palma y del trabajo, y al final de su conversación telefónica terminaron llorando.
Es por el sufrimiento que te decía al principio, por el dolor tan intenso que supone perder todo por lo que has trabajado durante toda tu vida por lo que te hablo a pesar de la dificultad para que me escuches.

Cumplan con la misión que todos los españoles les hemos encomendado, en este caso los canarios, y más concretamente toda la isla de La Palma. Y esa misión no es otra que atender a la isla de La Palma, que no tengan que depender de la generosidad ni de la aportación de las personas o entidades privadas, que es una reacción humana y necesaria para lo inmediato, pero solo eso.
Los ministros de España han exigido diversas obligacionesa los autónomos de La Palma para recibir las ayudas, y han tenido que rectificar por las presiones de los dirigentes empresariales. No señores ministros, ni parlamentarios, ni Presidente del Gobierno, ni responsables políticos canarios.
No hay que esperar a ver cuáles son los daños finales, no hay que estar rectificando decisiones injustas, La Palma no puede esperar a mañana, hay que reponer inmediatamente los polígonos industriales que se han perdido porque la actividad de la isla no se puede parar, hay que apoyar a los autónomos sin exigencias innecesarias, hay que planificar ya la reposición de los pueblos y de las casas que se han perdido. Tomen todas las medidas necesarias para que la vida en La Palma vuelva a la normalidad. Que no se repita lo de siempre, que esta vez cumplan de verdad con sus responsabilidades y encuentren todas las soluciones, cueste lo que cueste.
