Shocked by the suffering of Central Americans arriving by the thousands to the United States, Guatemalan singer-songwriter Gaby Moreno says in an interview with EFE that she wants to be the musical «spokesperson» for these migrants, to whom she will dedicate two songs from her upcoming album, ‘Spangled’.
«Through my music, through my art, I want to be a voice for these people who have no voice,» says Moreno, who on Thursday, July 19, 2019, opened the summer concert season at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, in the US.
