La ópera Aida, dirigiendo la Orquesta Filármonica de Gran Canaria Karel Mark Chichon y con la Messo Soprano Ellia Garanca, programada por Amigos Canarios de la Opera para la primera semana de abril en el Teatro Pérez Galdós, tuvo que ser suspendida por el coronavirus. Ahora el maestro une a la OFGC y Garanca, desde sus casas, y nos regalan la Resurreción de Mahler.
Ennio Morricone aportó el tema musical a la película La Misión. Algunos han dicho que te transporta al mundo donde reside la ilusión y la esperanza, y muchos otros que no concederle el Oscar ha sido uno de los grandes errores de la Academia, y otros que será música eterna.
El Adagio de Albinoni pasa por ser la más bella canción de la música clásica. Curiosamente los musicólogos aceptan que no es de Albinoni, que es de Remo Giazotto, un estudioso de Albinoni que encontró fragmentos en sus investigaciones y compuso el tema en 1945. En cualquier caso, maravilloso.
