El 23-J impide el desbloqueo de la Ley ELA y dinamita las esperanzas de los enfermos.

Jordi Sabaté, un luchador entre los más de 4.000 enfermos de ELA que hay en España, y que no perdona que la Ley ELA no haya sido aprobada y vaya a acabar en la basura por el adelanto electoral

Pedro Sánchez ha adelantado las elecciones generales al 23-J para que el PSOE no le echara, pero con esta decisión se ha cargado más de 60 leyes pendientes que estaban en el tintero. Entre ellas, está la Ley ELA y Jordi Sabaté, uno de sus enfermos y entre los más críticos con Sánchez por incumplir su promesa, ni lo olvida ni lo perdona, como ha señalado en Twitter: “Cuatro años de trabajo, sudor y lágrimas a la basura”.

Es más, Sabaté ha referido que “no pretendo ser egocéntrico ni brujo pero los dos partidos que se niegan al desbloqueo de la Ley ELA se han hundido”, en alusión a PSOE y Unidas Podemos y a sus respectivos batacazos el pasado 28-M. Recuerden que la Ley ELA (la cual busca una mínima garantía asistencial para todos los enfermos) se aprobó como proposición de ley el 8 de marzo de 2022, es decir, hace más de 14 meses, pero el plazo de enmiendas ha sido prorrogado, hasta ahora, ¡48 veces! ¿En serio, Pedro Sánchez, Ione Belarra y compañía siguen pensando que apoyan -y mucho- a los más vulnerables? El hecho de que la Ley ELA es sólo una muestra de que claramente no lo hacen. Por cierto, uno de los partidos que más ha apoyado la proposición de la Ley ELA ha sido Ciudadanos. El resto debería tomar ejemplo de esta buena idea… y cuanto antes mejor porque esta enfermedad afecta a más de 4.000 personas en España. 

Sabaté también ha tenido palabras de agradecimiento para el naturalista, expresentador y youtuber Frank Cuesta por su ayuda en la lucha contra la ELA, pues este ha sido muy crítico con los partidos pidiendo el desbloqueo de una ley que ahora se ha tirado a la basura.

Jordi Sabaté, a fighter among the more than 4,000 ALS sufferers in Spain, who does not forgive the fact that the ALS Law has not been passed and will end up in the rubbish bin because of the early elections.

Pedro Sánchez has brought forward the general elections to 23-J so that the PSOE would not kick him out, but with this decision he has killed more than 60 pending laws that were in the pipeline. Among them is the ELA Law and Jordi Sabaté, one of its sufferers and among the most critical of Sánchez for breaking his promise, neither forgets nor forgives it, as he pointed out on Twitter: «Four years of work, sweat and tears down the drain».

Moreover, Sabaté said that «I do not pretend to be egocentric or a sorcerer, but the two parties that refuse to unblock the ELA Law have sunk», in allusion to PSOE and Unidas Podemos and their respective defeats on 28 March. Remember that the ALS Act (which seeks a minimum guarantee of care for all patients) was approved as a bill on 8 March 2022, that is, more than 14 months ago, but the deadline for amendments has been extended, so far, 48 times! Do Pedro Sánchez, Ione Belarra and company really think that they still support – and very much so – the most vulnerable? The fact that the ELA Act is just one sign that they clearly do not. By the way, one of the parties that has supported the ELA Law proposal the most has been Ciudadanos. The rest should take an example from this good idea… and the sooner the better because this disease affects more than 4,000 people in Spain.

Sabaté also had words of thanks for the naturalist, broadcaster and youtuber Frank Cuesta for his help in the fight against ALS, as he has been very critical of the parties asking for the unblocking of a law that has now been thrown in the bin.
