Breve argumento:

El joven caballero Des Grieux, se enamora a primera vista de Manon, que acaba de bajar del carruaje con su hermano Lescaut. Pero el viejo e influyente Geronte también la desea y se prepara para secuestrarla, pero los dos jóvenes, avisados por Edmondo, se escapan juntos a París para evitar a Geronte.

Brief plot:

The young knight Des Grieux, falls in love at first sight with Manon, who has just stepped out of the carriage with her brother Lescaut. But the old and influential Geronte also desires her and prepares to kidnap her, but the two young men, warned by Edmondo, escape together to Paris to avoid Geronte.
